Last Friday on the 5th of September, the year six students from Holy Family School and  the Holy Family Parish community received their confirmation.  It was all very exciting on the night. Everyone had a reading or a position to do. My friend Bianca, Celina and Caterina and I all did a reading except my friend Ashanya, who did the offertory. The mass started at 7:00pm and finished at 8:30pm, but we had to arrive before 6:30 to take the photos from the professionals. We had to choose a saint name, which Monsignor Terry Curtin would use on the night. We had to choose a saint because the saint that we have chosen is here to pray and guide us. We had to do quite a few of practises before the night happened. I was the very first one to arrive at the photo shoot and the 4th to arrive was my friend Celina. On the night it all went nice and smoothly. Once Confirmation had finished my entire family went to a restaurant to have dinner.
